WORKPLACE WELLBEING

The physical, mental and emotional health of staff should be at the heart of every organisations mission statement. On average, full time employees spend 20% of their time at work, and our sense of wellbeing affects our focus, drive, communication and overall productivity. It also directly impacts our personal lives, and our capacity to be present and engaged in relationships with friends, family and loved ones. Not to mention how we feel about and take care of ourselves.

I see workplace wellbeing as a trojan horse approach to nurturing and supporting a society where employers and the corporate sector truly value and prioritise the humans who make up the work force. Healthy humans are happier, more motivated, more energised and more present in all aspects of life bringing benefits to family, work and play.

Studies and statistics support the correlation between employee wellbeing and performance. If you look after your employees they will return the favour tenfold. Valued and supported staff are far more likely to deliver better outcomes for your organisation. They will happily go above and beyond – even more so if they are aligned with your vision and goals.  Employee's deal with existing and potential clients and customers; they are the face, voice and embodiment of an organisation. ​I tailor sessions to the needs of individual organisations and their staff, and call on a wide range of training and experience to deliver accessible, engaging experiences, both in person and online. Workshops help teams develop self awareness, build resilience, celebrate ongoing healthy habits, and identify realistic ways to support their wellbeing in a sustainable way. They also promote friendship and community that is healthy and valuable for both staff and employers. â€‹â€‹

We can’t give from an empty cup, and I invite people to bring the same focus and energy they apply to work success, sporting achievements and supporting family/friends to their own self care. Through discussion, breathing and mindfulness exercises, group activities and self reflection, these workshops provide insights and practical tools that support healthy connection between work colleagues, community and most importantly to self.

Breathwork, meditation and mindfulness techniques to support emotional regulation, stress and anxiety, and promote focus, clarity and grounding.

 

I include basic breathing exercises in wellbeing workshops, and also offer sessions focusing on breathwork and meditation as tools supporting mental clarity, grounding, emotional regulation and focus.
